Minimum Guidelines for measuring and reporting environmental parameters for experiments on plants in growth rooms and cabinets
Guidelines for a minimum set of environmental parameters in controlled environment rooms and cabinets recommended for managers and users to measure and for users to report in publications were published in March 2004 by the International Committee for Controlled Environment Guidelines (ICCEG) for the groups, UK Controlled Environment Users' Group (UK CEUG), the North American Committee on Controlled Environment Technology and Use (NCR-101, now NCERA-101) and the Australasian Controlled Environment Working Group (ACEWG).
The minimum guidelines have been produced in three formats:
a) A 2-fold colour A4 or Letter-sized leaflet to fit a DL or No.10 envelope respectively.
b) A small A3/Ledger-sized poster for wall display in CE facilities.
c) A full-sized poster with an abstract for loan to display in poster sessions of scientific and technical meetings.
These documents can be downloaded from links on the NCERA-101 web site.
Members of the UK CEUG can obtain full colour, printed copies of the leaflet and a laminated copy of the small poster with an associated literature pocket, from the group's secretary. Members of NCR-101 and ACEWG should contact the secretaries of their group (for NCR-101 see under 'Officers') to check availability of professionally printed leaflets and the small poster.
